At Yummee Pop, our purpose is rooted in two core values: health and community. First, we recognize many people experience health issues that inspire them to change their diet and eat healthier. The removal of gluten and the implementation of a plant-based diet is beneficial in many ways including for weight management and improved digestion. Popcorn is naturally gluten-free so we created a healthy vegan friendly version that's wholesome, satisfying and love by all.

Second, we believe that children are the future, and guiding them toward success is a shared responsibility. After connecting with a Detroit-based organization that mentors children, their mission deeply resonated with us. From that moment, we committed to ensuring Yummee Pop contributes to children’s education and growth.

With every bite of Yummee Pop, we aim to bring joy through a tasty, healthy, and clean snack—while making the world a better place, one kernel at a time.

After we were introduced to an organization in Detroit that mentors children, this program became dear to our hearts. So when we started Yummee Pop Popcorn, we wanted the company to contribute to children and their education. Our mission is, in every bite, that we help the world to become a better place while providing happiness in a tasty, healthy, clean snack.

THE FULL STORY

I’ve always loved to snack, but after indulging in unhealthy treats, I often felt sick and unsatisfied. In 2022, I asked my husband for a popcorn popper for my birthday. After popping my first batch, I was hooked! Popcorn made me feel satisfied in a way other snacks didn’t.

Inspired by my new obsession, my sister suggested I experiment with different flavors, and I did! Friends and family loved it so much, they encouraged me to start selling it. And that’s how Yummee Pop Popcorn was born.

But Yummee Pop isn’t just about selling popcorn—it’s about offering a healthy snack and giving back to the community. With every bag of popcorn you enjoy, you can feel good knowing that part of the proceeds help educate children.

I believe education opens doors and creates opportunities, which is why I’m committed to donating 10% of our profits to a local organization that empowers children through education and mentorship. As our business grows, I plan to increase this percentage until we’re donating 50% of our proceeds.
