Not Just a Snack — A Whole Vibe: The Story Behind Yummee Pop

When I started making popcorn, it wasn’t to start a business. It was to find something I could eat.
A few years back, my body started telling me what it wasn’t going to tolerate anymore — gluten, artificial flavors, preservatives, and a bunch of additives found in everyday snacks. So, I started looking for options. Something crunchy, flavorful, clean, and satisfying. That search led me right to popcorn — the kind you pop yourself, season with care, and feel good about eating.
Little did I know, that first batch would turn into a whole movement.
From Kitchen Experiment to Popcorn Hustle
At first, I was just making it for me. Then family. Then friends. Next thing I knew, people were placing orders — and not just one or two bags. They were coming back, telling me, “This hits different.”
And it did — because Yummee Pop isn’t just popcorn. It’s energy. It’s creativity. It’s care. It’s doing the most with the simplest things.
My process started in my kitchen, where I made caramel sauce from scratch and popped using a whirly popper on the stove.
I handcrafted every single batch — no shortcuts, no cut corners. I was learning and building at the same time. It wasn’t always easy, but it was always worth it.
When I decided to turn it into a business, I knew one thing for sure — I wanted to create a snack that people like me could enjoy. As a flexitarian, I lean into clean eating, but I still want food that feels good too. Yummee Pop had to check every box: vegan-friendly, dairy-free, gluten-free, nut-free and delicious enough to turn heads.
Flavor With Attitude
Yummee Pop flavors are made to pop — not just in taste, but in personality.
• Dill Sea Salt & Vinegar: bold and unapologetic. Just like your auntie with the sharp comeback.
• Caramel: crunchy, rich, and classy — with a little love added to each bag.
• Spicy: got that slow burn that keeps you coming back for more.
• Himalayan Salt: clean and simple, for the folks who like their snacks pure but not boring.
Each one is crafted to satisfy a craving and match a mood. And all of them are gluten-free, nut-free, vegan-friendly, and made with quality ingredients you can pronounce.
We Don’t Just Sell Popcorn — We Build Moments
Yummee Pop is about more than clean snacking. It’s about gathering, laughing, and feeling seen. It’s about knowing that good food doesn’t have to be complicated — it just has to be made with intention.
When people grab a bag of Yummee Pop, they’re not just buying popcorn. They’re joining a vibe. A lifestyle. A community that celebrates flavor, realness, and being a little extra in the best way.
What’s Next for Yummee Pop?
We’ve got new things cooking — literally. This year, we’re launching Yummee Pop Seasoning and Caramel Corn Kits, so you can bring the magic home and create your own Yummee moments.
We’re also scaling up production to keep up with the love (thank you!), expanding our flavor lineup, and getting ready to show up on more retail shelves near you.
But Yummee Pop isn’t just about what’s in the bag — it’s about what we build beyond it.
We’ve officially launched our working scholarship programs and are adding the finishing touches to our virtual fundraising pop-up stores, which will live on our website. This new platform will help us raise funds, support youth, and give communities an easy way to get involved — all through the joy of snacking. The project is on track to go live by the end of April.
And our impact? It’s already in motion. We’ve partnered with Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, donating over $630 to their scholarship fund. Because for us, success means more than sales — it means showing up, giving back, and creating real change where it matters.

And we’re just getting started.
